Recently, the much-loved actor, Jason Earles appeared on a podcast, during which he revealed that he lied to the makers of Hannah Montana to get the role. For the unversed, he played the role of a 16-year-old ‘Jackson Stewart’. However, the actor explained that he lied about his age. He told the makers that he was 18-years-old, while in reality he was 28. He was quoted as saying:
“I was desperately afraid that I was going to be fired and recast because I had a big secret. When I auditioned for the show, I lied to them and told them I was 18 years old.”
