After the massive success of Dhurandhar, Ranveer Singh is witnessing a renewed wave of popularity among people. Recently, he stepped out for an intimate lunch with Deepika Padukone, and it turned into a full-blown celebratory moment. This was the first time the couple stepped out together after the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge.
As soon as Ranveer emerged, chants of “Babbar Sher” filled the air, with fans hailing him as the reigning force behind the much-talked-about film. His proud wife Deepika Padukone, dressed in classic white shirt and blue denims combination, could not stop beaming and donned a wide smile. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, directed by Aditya Dhar, is having an impressive run at the box office. It is inching towards Rs 500 crore in India. The film follows the journey of an Indian spy in Pakistan, as he attempts to dismantle their terror network from within. Besides Ranveer, the film stars Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Rajat Bedi and Danish Pandor, among others.

It’s gory, visceral, and very much in tune with the current mood of the nation. Subtle it is not, but then again, subtlety was never really on the menu.”
