What’s the curse in Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen?
The curse is revealed in episode four of the series through a disturbing family history, after ‘Rachel’ watched an old video of her parents’ wedding. The video showed how her mother married someone who was not her soulmate and died a horrible death soon after, warning ‘Rachel’ that the same fate awaited her. Her father confirms the curse and reveals it began centuries ago when a woman made a deal with death to bring her lover back to life. The condition for her wish was simple but cruel: “She had to truly believe he was her soulmate”.
