
Forbidden Fruits has arrived in theatres on March 27, 2026. The comedy horror movie is adapted from a 2019 stage play, Of the woman came the beginning of sin, and through her we all die. The play was written by Lily Houghton, who is also the co-writer of the film’s screenplay with Meredith Alloway, the director of the movie. The main storyline focuses on ‘Apple,’ who is working at Free Eden and is operating a cult in the mall’s basement. However, a recruit named ‘Pumpkin’ brings complications for ‘Apple’ and her group members, ‘Cherry’ and ‘Fig.’
