T-Series’ managing director Bhushan Kumar recently addressed the ongoing buzz around Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela’s next, putting all Aashiqui 3 rumours to rest. In an interview with Faridoon Shahryar, he clarified, “It’s not Aashiqui 3, it’s an untitled film,” adding that the shoot is currently underway in Srinagar. He shared that both Kartik and Sreeleela are filming actively, with the project progressing at full speed and a release expected later this year.
Talking about the music, he sounded particularly excited, saying, “It’s coming out fabulous, with super duper music from Pritam, he has given outstanding music.” Given the film’s romantic backdrop, the soundtrack is already shaping up to be one of its biggest highlights.
He also confirmed that Arijit Singh will be part of the album, further raising expectations around the music.
Meanwhile, the Anurag Basu directorial continues to build curiosity as fresh visuals from Srinagar surface online. Earlier too, clips from Gangtok had gone viral, showing Kartik and Sreeleela shooting musical moments, including one where Kartik performed with a guitar and another that hinted at a darker, more intense layer to the story. With Kartik also balancing projects like Naagzilla, this film seems to mark another interesting step in his evolving lineup.
