According to a report by People, the US Secret Service agent who was assigned to former First Lady, Jill Biden accidentally shot his own leg at Philadelphia International Airport on March 27, 2026. The shooting took place just after 8:30 a.m on March 27, 2026. Sharing an update on the accident, USSS spokesperson, Nate Herring told People that Jill was also present at the airport but was not present during the accidental shooting. Nate highlighted that the agent “suffered a non-life-threatening injury following a negligent discharge while handling a service weapon.” Apart from the agent, no one else was harmed due to the accidental shooting.
