She made sure Agastya was comfortable, and when the little boy pointed towards the photographers stationed outside, Mahieka held him close and made sure he stayed protected from the flashes and cameras. She quickly asked the photographers not to flash the lights on Agastya. She even covered his face. She even asked the photographers to keep a distance as she was with Agastya. She said:
