After sharing the screen with Jackie Shroff in some remarkable Hindi films, Suniel Shetty is all set to share the screen with Shroff’s son, Tiger Shroff. As per reports, the Border actor has joined the cast of Tiger’s next film, which is being produced by Murad Khetani.
As per a report in Variety India, the details about Shetty’s character have been kept under wraps, but it will be a pivotal role. Shooting is scheduled to begin on April 10 in Mumbai, and the team is expected to wrap it up by July this year. More details are awaited on the film.
Reports further state that the film will be directed by Kannada filmmaker Sachin Ravi. He is known for directing the film Avane Srimannarayan, starring Rakshit Shetty. Ravi has also been credited as the editor in films such as Kirik Party, Operation Alamelamma, Siddhartha and Half Mentlu. For the uninitiated, Ravi was supposed to make his Hindi directorial debut with Ashwatthama: The Saga continues, but the film was shelved.
Meanwhile, Tiger Shroff was last seen in Baaghi 4, where he shared the screen with actors Harnaaz Sandhu and Sanjay Dutt, among others. However, the actioner didn’t leave a strong mark at the box office. He is now shooting for Raj Mehta’s Lag Jaa Gale. The actor will also be seen in Ram Madhvani’s Vajra.
Talking of Suniel Shetty, he was last seen in Kesari Veer and had a cameo role in Border 2. He will next be seen in the comedy film Welcome to the Jungle, which stars an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, and Jacqueliene Fernandez, among others.
