Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently took a spiritual pause as she visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar, sharing moments from the visit on social media. Along with the pictures, she remembered her late father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, in a heartfelt note. The actor also took part in seva at the Gurudwara, keeping the experience simple and meaningful.

Posting glimpses on her Instagram stories, Priyanka wrote, “Thinking of you dad, Thank you Shiromani gurudwara parbandhak committee. And sri darbar sahib management committee for such a blessed visit.” In a video that has now gone viral, she is seen performing seva at Sri Darbar Sahib, cleaning utensils alongside other women. Dressed in a soft pink traditional outfit with her head covered, she blended in quietly, embracing the spirit of the place.
While the exact reason for her Amritsar visit hasn’t been confirmed, there is growing speculation that it could be linked to her upcoming film with SS Rajamouli. The project, titled Varanasi, also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran and is already being talked about as one of the biggest releases of 2027. Speaking about the film earlier, Priyanka called it a major milestone in her journey and shared, “The filmmaker’s name is SS Rajamouli sir, and he is one of the best that we have in India. His movie is going to be really career-defining for me, I think and I am very excited about it.”

On the work front, Priyanka also recently reacted to Dhurandhar 2, applauding director Aditya Dhar and the entire cast. She extended her congratulations to Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi. Having worked with Ranveer in films like Gunday, Dil Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani, the actor continues to share a strong professional bond with him.
