
Reid Wiseman is one of the NASA astronauts who will travel around the moon with Victor Glover, Jeremy Hansen, and Christina Koch. There are three veteran astronauts and a Canadian rookie in the Artemis II mission. Well, Commander, Reid Wiseman is a single father to two daughters. Reid’s wife, Carroll Taylor, passed away after a long fight with cancer back in 2020. However, Reid had once revealed that he wanted to move back in with Carroll’s family, but she wanted him to pursue his dreams.

Reid Wiseman’s wife, Carroll Taylor, was a registered nurse who passed away in 2020. In an earlier interview with CBS News, Reid Wiseman revealed that when Carroll really started getting sick, he wanted to move her back to where her family was from. However, Carroll had refused to relocate despite fighting cancer and had said, as quoted by Reid:
“And she’s like, ‘No, this is where you work. This is the job you love. This is where you work, and this is where our kids are growing up, and we are going to stay right here.’ To me, that was marching orders … to continue down this path.”
