It is Bill Murray, smiling, watching closely, and cheering like any proud parent. His son, Luke Murray, works as an assistant coach under Dan Hurley. This is not just a celebrity showing up for fun. At first, basketball was not something, Bill Murray fully understood. Luke Murray himself has said this in past interviews. Growing up, his father saw basketball as a “strange hobby.” This was not a typical sports family where a father trains his child every day or pushes him into the game. Instead, their bond grew in a different way. Luke Murray worked his way up slowly in college basketball. He took small steps, learned from different programs, and built his name over time. As that journey became real, Bill Murray started to see it differently.
