Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is a well-known American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is best known as a former member of an Atlanta-based hip-hop trio, Migos. He is also the ex-husband of rapper, Cardi B. Offset has lately been in the headlines for his fallen relationship with Cardi B. However, this time, the reason for his being in the headlines is further heartbreaking. According to reports, the rapper was rushed to the hospital after he was shot outside a hotel in Hollywood.
Offset shot out of a hotel in Hollywood
The news of Offset being admitted to the hospital made headlines on April 6, 2026 (ET). According to a report by TMZ, the rapper was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood on Monday. A spokesperson for Offset told the news outlet that the rapper was stable, “fine”, and receiving medical care at the hospital. The Seminole Police Department couldn’t confirm whether Offset was the victim due to privacy concerns, but confirmed there was a shooting at the valet area after 7 p.m. that resulted in non-life-threatening injuries to an individual.
