Today show’s next week is set to be different. The change won’t be limited to viewers; it would affect Savannah Guthrie herself. After a long-awaited return owing to her mother’s disappearance, Savannah returned to work a few days ago. However, her brief tease when she said, “There’s going to be a new host” left everyone thinking. Now, we finally have all the details about the change.
What will change on Savannah Guthrie’s Today show next week?
According to reports, Savannah Guthrie’s former Today co-host, Hoda Kotb, who temporarily replaced her, is set to return on the show. She had taken Savannah’s place when the latter had to immediately go to Arizona following her mother’s disappearance. But this time, the return would not be to replace Savannah. Instead, she is returning to replace co-anchor, Craig Melvin. He will take a temporary break from April 13, 2026, after working continuously in Savannah’s absence.
