A while ago, Zanai Bhosle took to her Instagram Stories and shared a picture from her grandmother, Asha Bhosle’s funeral. Along with it, Zanai penned a heartwrenching note. She mentioned that currently she is overwhelmed with emotions and will write something when she can. She thanked everyone who paid their last respects to Asha Bhosle and attended her last rites. Zanai added that her grandmom deserved every bit of respect and honour. Zanai stated that she realised her grandmom would always live in the hearts of her near and dear ones. She wrote:
“So overwhelmed with emotions, I’ll write something when I can, but I have to say that there were so many people who have respected her and honoured her today, and beyond it all shown her so much love. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. She deserved every bit of it. I realise that she lives on in every one of us in our hearts forever, and she has seen it all from above.”
