Although the actor did not write a separate caption to go with the post, fans considered it to be a silent yet respectful tribute to the late singer. Irrespective of not having a caption, the fans engaged with the post and rapidly filled the comment section with emotional responses. One of them wrote, “It feels great when a legend notices another legend,” while another said, “Thank you, John Cena, for acknowledging this legend”.
The Final Goodbye: The demise of the legendary singer Asha Bhosle
The legendary singer, Asha Bhosle’s final journey took place in Mumbai, she was cremated with full state honours at Shivaji Park on Monday. Earlier in the day, her mortal remains were kept at her residence in Lower Parel between 11 am and 3 pm, allowing fans, colleagues, and everyone else to pay their last respects.
From political figures to members of the film fraternity, people had gathered together in large numbers, including famous personalities such as Uddhav Thackeray, Sachin Tendulkar, Riteish Deshmukh, and A. R. Rahman.
In order to manage the crowds, the Mumbai Police deployed over 1,000 personnel, with traffic diversions in place to ensure the procession moved smoothly. The vehicle carrying her mortal remains was decorated with white flowers, bidding a final farewell to the individual whose voice inspired thousands and will continue to echo in the history of Indian Music.
