Ranbir Kapoor has achieved a major international milestone, securing a spot on an international magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people of 2026. This recognition makes him the only Indian actor to feature on the global list this year, placing him alongside world leaders and cultural icons.
The news has sparked immense pride at home, but perhaps no one is more excited than his wife Alia Bhatt. Known for being his biggest supporter, Alia took to social media to celebrate Ranbir’s achievement. She shared a screenshot of the announcement on her Instagram Stories, adding the caption: “Looking good baby.”
The annual list is widely considered a benchmark for global impact and popularity. Ranbir is joined on the list by other notable figures, including celebrity chef Vikas Khanna, as well as global political leaders like US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The profile for Ranbir in the magazine was penned by his colleague and fellow Bollywood star, Ayushmann Khurrana. In a heartfelt tribute, Ayushmann praised Ranbir’s dedication to his profession, writing, “There are actors who chase legacy and there are actors who become one through their craft. Ranbir Kapoor is the latter.” He further mentioned that Ranbir’s influence has evolved beyond the typical Bollywood focus on weekend box-office collections, establishing him as a true artist.
Fans of the couple have more to look forward to, as Ranbir and Alia are set to share the screen again in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project, Love & War, which also stars Vicky Kaushal. This will be Alia’s second film with Bhansali after Gangubai Kathiawadi.
While Ranbir enjoys this global spotlight, Alia remains busy with her own projects, including the spy thriller Alpha, which is now scheduled for release on July 10.
