Although Preity couldn’t watch the match live at the stadium, she didn’t miss celebrating the big win. Taking to X, she shared pictures of herself watching the match on TV and praised the team’s performance, giving special mention to Shreyas, Prabhsimran and Arshdeep for their contributions.

For those who missed the match, Prabhsimran smashed an unbeaten 80 off 39 balls, while Shreyas scored 66 from 35 deliveries. Arshdeep impressed with the ball, picking up three wickets for 22 runs in four overs. Meanwhile, a throwback image of Salman Khan from the Golden Temple also went viral after the win. On the work front, Preity will soon return to the big screen with Lahore 1947, alongside Sunny Deol, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan, with a release planned for Independence Day 2026.
