
Former BBC Radio 1 DJ and Live Aid Presenter, Andy Kershaw left many in shock with his sudden passing at the age of 66. For the unversed, Any Kershaw was a famous voice on Radio 1 for almost 15 years after making his debut in 1985. Then he went on to report for Radio 4 on music genres and global conflicts. Who was Andy Kershaw?
Andy was born on November 9, 1959, and he became one of the most important voices on the radio through his famous programs on BBC Radio 1, and then on BCC Radio 3. He was the one who introduced diverse music to the audiences and featured songs from artists from Africa, Asia, and Latin America back in those days. He had a deep knowledge of music and storytelling, which gained him a lot of fame.
