Shakti and Raghav have appeared on many dance reality shows where they were judges and hosts, respectively. Shakti shared that she felt a deep connection with Raghav. She stated that Raghav is exceptional. Before the TV reality show, Dance Plus, they were regular friends and argued just like siblings. However, soon the makers developed a romantic perspective. She was quoted as saying:
“I felt a deep connection with him. It seemed as if our guy was succeeding. I believe he is exceptional—not only because of his accomplishments, but also as an individual. He is unique. Prior to the show, we were just regular friends—we would bicker like siblings. Then, unexpectedly, they began to develop a romantic perspective. It was written that he would mock me. It was an unusual change for us.”
