Sharing the clicks, Ananya wrote, “Happy Birthday, @lakshya! The Aarav to this Chandni… Watching your journey was one thing…but sharing the screen with you now feels like seeing that same[half moon emoticon] find its full [full moon emoticon] moment. Stay exactly who you are… because that’s your real khaasiyat.”
The makers recently released the teaser of the movie. The teaser hinted at a passionate love story anchored in a strong emotional core, with the tagline, “Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai.” It opened with montages of romantic moments between the lead pair as their relationship blossoms. There is palpable chemistry, marked by intimate scenes and familiar visual tropes of romance, including the brooding lover with a cigarette and his partner by his side. The tone shifted towards the end, where the teaser plunged into a darker territory.
The film is backed by Dharma Productions and produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, Marijke Desouza. It is directed by Vivek Soni. Chand Mera Dil is all set to release in theatres on May 22, 2026.
