Vijay And Sangeetha’s Divorce Case Update, Court Pushes Hearing, Gives A New Date To The Couple

Thalapathy Vijay’s personal life has been making headlines ever since the report of his divorce from his wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, surfaced in the media. For the unversed, in February 2026, Sangeetha filed for a divorce from Vijay in the Chengalpattu Family Court. In the plea, she reportedly made some shocking allegations against the actor, including his infidelity with an actress. And now, there has been an update on the case.

Vijay and Sangeetha’s divorce case hearing has been postponed

On April 20, 2026, the Chengalpattu Family Welfare Court in Tamil Nadu postponed the hearing to June 15, 2026. According to recent reports, the case came before Judge Sasikala for hearing, and after a brief session, the judge adjourned it, pushing the hearing to mid-June.
