Actor Jayasurya and filmmaker Jithin K Jose have officially commenced their upcoming project with a traditional pooja ceremony at Mookambika Temple. The actor shared the update on Sunday, marking the first public milestone for what is already shaping up to be a highly anticipated collaboration.
While principal photography is scheduled to begin after the summer, the ceremonial launch hints at the scale and cultural grounding the makers are aiming for. Industry chatter suggests that the project will lean heavily into mysticism, drawing from regional ritual practices and folklore rarely explored in mainstream Malayalam cinema.
Black magic, folklore and big-screen ambition
