The Met Gala 2026 is just a couple of weeks away. Known for its high-glamour fashion and exclusive, invitation-only guest list, the event has consistently delivered some of the most memorable style moments over the years. Indian celebrities, too, have made a strong impression on the iconic red carpet. Last year, stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh made their debuts at Met, while Priyanka Chopra Jonas continues to reign as a seasoned Gala regular.
Shah Rukh Khan debuted at the Gala in a custom Sabyasachi. He wore a stylish black suit with multiple golden necklaces. The two most prominent necklaces include one with his initials, SRK, and another with the letter K. He also donned four exquisite rings on his left hand, along with an eye-grabbing watch.
Diljit Dosanjh redefined swagger in a custom ivory-gold sherwani by Prabal Gurung, complete with a map-of-Punjab cape, bejewelled turban, and a lion-headed kirpan. Dripping in Golecha’s diamonds and Cartier, he ruled the carpet like true Punjabi royalty.
Kiara, who was pregnant with her daughter at the time, glowed in Gaurav Gupta’s sculptural masterpiece. Her antique-gold breastplate represented mother and child, connected by an abstract umbilical cord, while her diamond-studded accessories and smoky glam sealed the deal.
Priyanka Chopra, on the other hand, dazzled in vintage glamour. Her white polka-dotted Balmain gown, massive black hat, and that jaw-dropping 241-carat Bulgari emerald necklace.
Not just last year but several stars over the years have dazzled at the MET Gala, such as Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi and Isha Ambani, among others.
