Neha Dhupia recently shared her journey of pregnancy, revealing that her contractions began while she was shooting at Yash Raj Studios. She shared that she continued working until she was eight-and-a-half months pregnant, depicting her dedication towards her professional career no matter what.
Known for her unfiltered opinions on life and career, Neha Dhupia recently appeared on Parineeta Chopra’s new talk show, Mom Talks and opened up about her journey of pregnancy and how she managed to balance motherhood with ambition.
Neha Dhupia said, “As a woman, you should be able to do all the things you wish to do after becoming a mom. The needle shouldn’t change too much.” She further opened up about working through pregnancy and revealed that her contractions began while she was shooting at Yash Raj Studios.
According to IANS, as seen in a promo shared by Parineeti Chopra on social media, Neha Dhupia revealed how she was committed to work even in her final months of pregnancy. She said, “I wanted to go back to work. I worked right till the end, till eight and a half months pregnant. My contractions actually started at Yash Raj Studios.”
Meanwhile, in the podcast, they also talked about the expectations placed on new mothers and how women have to constantly deal with the coping pressure of parenting and personal choices. Here, Neha also spoke about pushing herself beyond her physical demands just to meet professional commitments.
