Savannah Guthrie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing after nearly 80 days. She was last seen at her home on January 31, 2026. While the investigative agencies and the FBI immediately began searching for her, they have not identified any major suspects. However, surveillance footage from Nancy’s home in Tucson, Arizona, showed a masked man outside at midnight. Although, it is one of the biggest pieces of evidence in the case, the primary question about the man’s identity is unanswered.
Ex-FBI agent questions lack of details over the masked man
Former FBI agent, Jennifer Coffindaffer recently shared a post on X about her views on the masked man in the Nancy Guthrie case. She questioned why no one had come forward to share any information about the masked man. For those unaware, the footage of the masked man and the specific details were shared publicly. Sharing her views about the possible reasons behind the silence, she penned:
“You know what he did. You’ve been tracking the case… But you know what? No way in hell you’re coming forward. Because if he gets any inkling that you’re acting in any way suspicious, you know you could be next.”
