The serial, CID was created by BP Singh and had Shivaji Satam essayed ‘ACP Pradyuman’. Aditya Srivastava played Senior Inspector ‘Abhijeet’, while Dayanand played ‘Daya’. During an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, journalist, and host, Gayatri Nirmal showed the cast a meme on the moment bae does not reply even after being seen. The meme featured Aditya and the caption spoke about memes that would make ‘Daya laugh’. A confused Shivaji asked, “Bae ka matlab kya hai?” Daya commented, “Bai bai”. The journalist then corrected them and ‘bae’ is not ‘bai’ but a girlfriend or a boyfriend is called the same. Daya, Abhijeet and Shivaji said:
“Mujhe laga kaam wali bai. I was thinking that. Bhai. Mujhe laga wahi. Gen Z man Gen Z. Gen Z toh matlab 10 saal pehle aise bolte thei. Kya beh kidhar jalera beh. Beh waha se aaya kya?”
