Munna Tripathi is one of OTT’s favourite characters and Divyenndu knows that. In fact, he acknowledges audiences’ anticipation of Mirzapur: The Movie. While fans are looking forward to his new projects, it is Munna Tripathi that they always expect to see on screen. But will they see bits and pieces of Munna in his new character Devender from Glory? Divyenndu firmly refutes the same.

He added, “He has a lot of personal and emotional baggage. Dev is like an active volcano. He can go off anytime. Dev is not a guy who understands himself. He doesn’t want to. His past has been so dramatic and disturbing that there are few things in his life he doesn’t want to face. And that’s why he lives in a limbo. He just exists. There’s no meaning to his existence. In the story, he also finds motivation in his life. But the motivation is very negative and comes from a dark space.”
What is Divyenndu’s take on Devender? He says that he pities the character. He said, “I just pity this guy. He is just constantly in pain. He doesn’t even know his own emotions and feelings. He is a man child who does not know how to express himself. You look at him and you are like, ‘He needs some taking care of.’ He is going absolutely berserk. He might explode one day. That’s Dev for you.”

Glory is slated to release on May 1, 2026 on Netflix.
