Last Year’s Highlights
The 2025 Met Gala, themed Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, was a historic moment for the event. It was the first exhibition to focus exclusively on Black dandyism and the first in decades to be based on menswear. The biggest highlight for Indian fans last year was the historic debut of Shah Rukh Khan. Making his first-ever appearance at the Gala, SRK embodied the Tailored for You dress code in a creation by Sabyasachi.
A Met Gala veteran, Priyanka Chopra Jonas was also seen in a custom Balmain ensemble. Also making his debut, Diljit brought a unique traditional flair to the carpet, further cementing India’s growing influence on the global fashion stage.
