Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla is continuing its slow but steady run at the box office. Now in its third week, the horror comedy is holding reasonably well during weekdays and gradually inching towards bigger numbers. After a drop on its second Monday, the film saw a slight jump in collections on Tuesday.

Directed by Priyadarshan, the film had wrapped up its first week with Rs 84.40 crore. It recorded a 19.2% growth on Day 12 compared to Day 11, earning around Rs 4.35 crore across 9,117 shows. With this, the total India gross stands at Rs 144.25 crore, while the India net has reached Rs 121.40 crore. The film had crossed Rs 100 crore globally within just four days of its release.
It is now edging closer to the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide. On Day 12, the film added Rs 1.5 crore from overseas markets, taking the overseas total to Rs 51 crore. With that, the total worldwide gross collection stands at Rs 195.25 crore.

At the box office, Bhooth Bangla is currently facing competition from the Michael Jackson biopic Michael, starring Jaafar Jackson.
Despite receiving mixed to negative reviews and some criticism around its narrative choices, Michael is managing a steady run. As per the latest update, the film has collected Rs 21.27 crore net in India within its first six days. Globally, it is nearing the $220 million mark (around Rs 2,070 crore), making it one of the highest grossing films of 2026 so far.
The film, which traces the life and career of Michael Jackson, continues to perform strongly overseas and is expected to climb further in the global rankings in the coming days.
