
Peter Michael Falk was an American actor who rose to fame for his roles in projects like The Princess Bride, Prescription: Murder, Wings of Desire, Mikey and Nicky, The Cheap Detective and Mickey and Nicky. For decades, Peter Falk was known for playing ‘Lt. Columbo’, the dishevelled, but brilliant detective on the popular TV series, Columbo. However, off-screen, the actor was also a dad to his daughters, Catherine and Jacqueline Falk.
The actor passed away in 2011 at the age of 83 from cardiorespiratory arrest, with pneumonia and Alzheimer’s disease listed as the underlying causes. Over the years, Catherine has been in the public eye more than her sister Jacqueline. Now, over a decade after his demise, the actor is once again in the headlines.
