
After a long, long time, it seems that the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively drama has finally reached its end. For those unaware, the It Ends With Us co-stars have been grabbing headlines since December 2024 for being embroiled in a legal battle. Reports suggest that the conflicts between the duo began while filming Coleen Hoover’s adaptation, as they realised their creative differences. Additionally, things took a turn for the worse when Blake accused Justin of sexual harassment as well as fat shaming and intentional reputation damage. Now, it has been reported that Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s legal war is over for good.
Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively settle after a year-and-a-half-long legal battle
As per reports, Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s legal battle, which spanned over a year and a half, reached an end just weeks before the actors were scheduled to go to trial in New York City. A spokesperson for Wayfarer Studios confirmed to USA Today that Justin and Blake have agreed to settle the latter’s breach of contract retaliation lawsuit on May 4, 2026. Reportedly, both parties’ attorneys released a joint statement which read:
“The end product – the movie ‘It Ends With Us’ – is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors – and all survivors – is a goal that we stand behind.”
