
Indian cricketer, Smriti Mandhana, and music composer, Palaash Muchhal’s wedding, scheduled for November 23, 2025, was “indefinitely postponed” just hours before the grand ceremony. And after intense speculations of cheating, the wedding was called off, further confirming the allegations against Muchhal. For the unversed, back in November 2025, Muchhal was accused of being unfaithful to the Indian cricketer. However, now he is once again back in the headlines, and this time it isn’t for a good cause. The music composer has landed himself in legal trouble after a childhood friend of Smriti made some serious accusations against him.
Palaash Muchhal lands in legal trouble over alleged casteist remarks
Almost six months after his wedding to the Indian cricketer, Smriti Mandhana was cancelled, Palaash Muchhal has once again landed himself in some trouble, and this time with the law. According to reports, a case has been registered against the music composer for allegedly making casteist remarks against Smriti’s childhood friend from Sangli. A report by TV9 Marathi has claimed that the case has been registered against Muchhal under provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The complaint was filed by Vigyan Prakash Mane, a resident of Sangli and a childhood friend of Muchhal’s ex-fiancee, Smriti.
