
The Boys Season 5 actress, Erin Moriarty has struggled a lot with the fifth and final season of The Boys. This is because her physical and mental health went for a toss due to her autoimmune disorder called Graves’ disease. Erin essays the role of the rebel superhero ‘Starlight’ and reveals that she could not be present for her character because she was facing a lot of pain. Erin Moriarty could not get herself to watch the final season of The Boys.
She has been a fan of the show due to her role as ‘Annie Starlight’. However, did you know that it was in June 2025 that Erin went public with her Graves’ disease, and back then she had completed six months of filming, The Boys. Her doctors had told her that she did not feel like herself during the entire production. She had not been feeling like herself during the full production. Erin had symptoms like fatigue, nausea and a fall. However, due to her immediate treatment, she felt better during the series finale.
