The journey from the historic streets of Jhansi to the shimmering lights of Mumbai is a path paved with persistence, and Annkit Yadavv is living proof of that grit. Making his cinematic entrance under the Naishaa Films banner, Yadavv isn’t just stepping into the spotlight; he is diving into a masterclass of acting. In his debut feature, ‘Samarpit Father’s Love’, he takes on the monumental task of portraying a character across three distinct eras of life—transforming from a spirited 24-year-old into a 45-year-old anchor of the family, and finally, a 60-year-old patriarch. This ambitious triple-role debut has already set the industry abuzz, marking him as a newcomer with a serious appetite for craft.
The film’s recent poster launch at the Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) in Andheri was more than just a promotional event; it was a mission statement. The production team moved the audience by announcing a philanthropic cornerstone for the project: half of the film’s box-office proceeds will be dedicated to supporting cancer patients.
“For me, acting wasn’t about finding fame, but about finding a story that demanded everything I had to give,” shared Annkit Yadavv. “Playing three different ages in one film allowed me to explore the entire spectrum of a man’s soul. However, knowing that our box office success will directly help families fighting cancer makes this journey far more meaningful than any personal milestone.”
Director Exhan Khan emphasized the rarity of such a debut “Most newcomers look for a ‘hero’ entry, but Annkit looked for a challenge. We pushed him to find the walk, the talk, and the silence of three different men. ‘Samarpit’ is our tribute to the unsung sacrifices fathers make, and in Annkit, we found an actor who could carry that emotional weight with incredible maturity.”
The film boasts a robust ensemble of seasoned performers, including Jaya Bhattacharya, Javed Hyder, Prashika Sharma, Dev Vyas and Meet Verma.
To capture the authentic essence of the story, the production traveled to the scenic locales of Jhansi and Madhya Pradesh, as well as the bustling heart of Mumbai. The visual narrative was brought to life by Cinematographers Avinash Pandirkar and Dharmendra Chauhan, with sharp, rhythmic editing by Umesh Rane.
The emotional resonance of the film is heightened by a powerful soundtrack featuring the vocals of Shahid Mallya and Abhishek Shastri. The musical landscape was crafted by a talented team comprising Shri Sindhu, Agni Varan, Biswajit Ghosh, and Faraz Ahmed.
While the industry awaits the June 19th release of ‘Samarpit: Father’s Love’ across 300 screens, the team is already looking ahead. The event concluded with the official unveiling of their next cinematic venture, titled ‘Auraa’, signaling that Annkit Yadavv and Naishaa Films are here to stay.
