For the unversed, a burglar allegedly barged into their Bandra home during the wee hours of January 16, 2024.
As per the reports, the burglar first attacked the house help, and when Saif intervened, he was stabbed with a sharp knife. Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. The motive was clearly robbery, but reports also suggest the involvement of their staff, who clearly had an idea of the couple’s immense wealth.
