American Idol is a long-running reality singing competition that aims to find the country’s next music superstar from unsigned talent. Spanning 24 seasons, the show has established itself as one of the most prestigious music reality programmes worldwide. On the night of May 11, 2026 (ET), the much-awaited grand finale of the music show took place, and a fan favourite emerged victorious. The top 3 contestants, Hannah Harper, Jordan McCullough and Keyla Richardson, impressed the judges and the audience with their mesmerising vocals, and the latter two advanced to the final stage of the show.
Both Hannah and Jordan were exceptional, but the former defeated the latter and earned the title.
