He is a primary suspect in a homicide investigation involving a fatal shooting that occurred in early February 2026. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department previously named him a “person of interest” and, a day later, shared an update on his arrest. They stated that “Mr. Coleman should be considered armed and dangerous” and that the investigation against him was still ongoing. The authorities also described Niccolas’ physical attributes as a 5-foot-8-inch, 160-lb individual with brown hair and brown eyes.
