Coldplay is a British rock band formed in 1997. The band features vocalist and pianist, Chris Martin; guitarist, Jonny Buckland; bassist, Guy Berryman; and drummer and percussionist, Will Champion. Known for their live performances, this marks their fourth visit to India and second performance in the country.

Coldplay kickstarted its long-awaited India leg of their Music of the Spheres World Tour with a concert on January 18, 2025, at the DY Patil stadium in Mumbai. Since the concert, several clips and pictures from the same have surfaced online, and the netizens can’t have enough of them. The concert-goers made different placards for the concert. Chris Martin was reading those placards when he came across one that read Jai Shree Ram. The singer read the same and questioned his audience what it meant. Hearing the crowd roar, he stated that it must be something good.
