Plotline of Kara
Kara revolves around ‘Karaswamy’ (played by Dhanush), a grey-shaded man who lives in the shadows of Ramanathapuram. As the global fuel crisis strikes hard in India, the local economy collapses, leading to black market wars. Amid this, ‘Karaswamy’ returns to his village and becomes the pillar of strength for the common people who feel vulnerable due to the fuel shortage. ‘Karaswamy’ uses his knowledge about local terrain and also advanced military-grade heist tactics to hijack fuel trucks intended for the corrupt elite.
