The mysterious passing of model and actress, Twisha Sharma has generated immense buzz. The 33-year-old Noida-based woman was found deceased on May 12, 2026, in her marital home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills. The reason for her death was reported as suicide, but was contested by the bereaved family. They alleged that severe dowry harassment, physical and mental torment by Twisha’s husband, Samarth Singh and her in-laws pushed her to take the extreme step. As the Sharmas and Singhs take the dispute to court, Twisha’s cousin sister made some explosive allegations against Samarth’s alleged ill-treatment towards Twisha.
Twisha Sharma’s cousin blamed Samarth Singh’s ‘repulsive behaviour’ for her abortion
In a May 2026 chat with Barkha Dutt’s Mojo Story, Twisha Sharma‘s cousin sister made some bold remarks about Samarth Singh and his family. The cousin claimed that her in-laws pressured her to get pregnant. Even when Twisha visited the hospital (the reason for her visit is unclear), she quoted her in-laws and told her family that they had asked her to return to Bhopal as soon as possible. They called her back because, allegedly, according to them, spending time with her husband and getting pregnant was more important than taking care of her father. Notably, since it happened days before Twisha’s pregnancy, it was likely her last visit to her hometown before her passing. The cousin stated:
“Pregnancy pressure was really high. In the hospital, she quoted, ‘You need to come back. When are you going to get pregnant if you stay with your father and take care of him?'”
