Marcia Lucas regretted not having her desired last chat with George Lucas
Just months before her death, Marcia Lucas appeared on Icons Unearthed and made some poignant remarks about her ex-husband, George Lucas. She was asked what she would say to him if it were their last interaction. She candidly answered the question without holding back her true feelings. Marcia said she felt like tearing up at the thought of it. She wanted to chat with George while sitting on a bench, just like old married couples. Marcia shared her regret regarding the lost chance of ageing with him and stated:
“I’d be very, very sad. We are getting up there in age. Unfortunately, when you get married, you always believe you’re going to be the old people sitting on the bark bench…but we didn’t get there.”
