
The untimely passing of model and actress, Twisha Sharma has generated immense buzz. The 33-year-old Noida-based woman was found deceased on May 12, 2026, in her marital home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills. The reason for her death was reported as suicide, but was contested by the bereaved family. They alleged that severe dowry harassment, physical and mental torment by Twisha’s husband, Samarth Singh and her mother-in-law, Giribala Singh pushed her to take the extreme step. Both the accused have been arrested and handed over to the CBI. Amid that, their case took a new turn with the usage of an 80 kg dummy.

Latest update by NDTV suggests that the CBI will be sending the deceased’s husband, Samarth Singh and mother-in-law, Giribala Singh, to their house. The accused are not being released but are being sent there for a test, which will serve as a crucial element of Twisha Sharma’s death case. It might provide a breakthrough in the investigation regarding the truth behind her cause and manner of passing. For the test, they will use an 80 kg hanging dummy to recreate the crime scene and verify the statements made by Samarth Singh and his mother, Giribala.
