Avantika was born to Hyderabad-origin Telugu family in San Francisco and her parents discovered her acting skills when she was just five. Her mother discovered a Facebook casting call for the Telugu language film, Brahmotsavam in 2016. Avantika grabbed the role and made her acting debut opposite Mahesh Babu at the age of 10.
