Report: Aryan Khans The Bads Of Bollywood Season 2 in The Works

Aryan Khan’s debut web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood received widespread praise and acclaim upon its release. Now, reports suggest that the show is set to return for a second season, with production likely to begin in the first quarter of 2027.

According to a report by Mid-Day, the makers are focused on ensuring that the writing feels fresh and avoids repeating the elements that worked in the first season.

The publication quoted a source as saying, “The effort right now is to make sure the writing feels fresh and original, rather than simply repeating what worked the first time. Bilal Siddiqi, who was a key creative force behind the first season, is actively working on the scripts.”

Meanwhile, earlier, Rajat Bedi, who was a key part of the show, confirmed that the second season is happening. He told News18 Showsha, “Yes, season two is happening. It’s in the works. I’m hopeful that audiences are going to see more of me in the second season.”

The Ba***ds of Bollywood starred Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Mona Singh, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh and Manoj Pahwa among others. It also had cameos by Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, SS Rajamouli, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Emraan Hashmi and more.

The show is a satire, exploring the dark side of Bollywood. Along with Aryan, it has been co-created by Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan. Meanwhile, reports are also doing the rounds that Aryan Khan has signed on to direct a live-action adaptation of Raj Comics character Super Commando Dhruva. However, he has not made any official announcement on his next project.
