
Sanchita Ugale, the 22-year-old TV actress, reportedly died by suicide. She was widely known for her roles in the popular TV soap operas, including Kumkum Bhagya and Wagle Ki Duniya. According to reports, Sanchita was found dead at her residence in Nalasopara, Mumbai, on June 14, 2026. Amid this, Sanchita’s close friend, Megha Sharma, revealed that the late TV actress was undergoing treatment due to depression. In fact, her social media posts reportedly hinted at mental health issues.

In an interview with Money Control, Sanchita Ugale’s close friend, Megha Sharma, revealed that the former had been suffering since January 2026. Megha stated that along with depression, Sanchita also had some other health issues. She added that the Kumkum Bhagya actress had some personal reasons and was undergoing treatment due to depression. Megha’s shocking revelation made it clear that Sanchita had been dealing with personal challenges and mental health issues. Megha was quoted as saying:
“I am in deep shock and out of words. She had some health issues and had been suffering from depression since January 2026. She had some personal reasons and was undergoing treatment.”
