Love Island USA’s Executive Producer passes away
According to reports, Love Island USA Executive Producer, James Barker, passed away last week, in June 2026, in Fiji during the production of the hit reality show. ITV America and Peacock revealed that his death occurred after he suffered “an unexpected medical emergency.” Reportedly, James will be honoured during the upcoming episode of Love Island USA, which will air on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. They claimed that James’ unimaginable loss has been felt deeply not just across the show’s production but throughout ITV and Peacock. The network added:
“He was a beloved and greatly valued member of our collective family whose kindness, talent and dedication left an indelible mark on all of us and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and working with him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to James’ partner, family, friends and colleagues.”
