
The richest man in India, Mukesh Ambani, added a new aircraft to his extensive private jet fleet in 2024, and it was none other than a Boeing 737 Max 9. The custom-configured aircraft was based on the popular Boeing 737 MAX series. The luxurious jet went to Basil EuroAirport (BSL) in Basel, Switzerland, where it underwent a modification program and a flight test program to ensure the safety.

After the cabin customisations and other upgrades, the aircraft is valued at approximately Rs 1,000 crore. With a cabin floor area of 1,120 sq ft, BBJ 737 Max 9 is the largest aircraft in the Boeing Business Jet MAX family. It features a private bedroom suite, executive lounges, advanced communications systems, executive meeting rooms, dining areas, premium bathrooms, and a state-of-the-art entertainment and communication system.
