Fans had been eagerly waiting for a zombie movie that would hit as well as Train to Busan. Well, filmmaker, Yeon Sang Ho took matters into his own hands with the new Korean movie, Colony. For those unaware, the movie was released in India on June 19, 2026. The film features a star cast including Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hyun Been, Kim Shin Rok, and Goo Soo. For those who are still not convinced about whether Colony is worth watching or not, here’s our review to help you decide.
What is the plot of Colony?
Colony is quick to set its stage as we see ‘Seo Young Cheol’ (Koo Kyo Hwan), a vengeful biologist who was just fired from his job, injecting the CEO with a weaponised bacteria during a corporate showcase in Seoul. With the bacteria being a really fast-acting one, within minutes, the high-rise gets filled with the mutating infected, that too before the people present can even process what is going on. While it is revealed that the virus spreads through bites, ‘Young Cheol’ makes the shocking claim that the only cure is his blood.
