Akanksha Chamola revealed what led to her divorce from Gaurav Khanna
When Akansha Chamola announced her split from Gaurav Khanna in the inaugural episode of Lock Upp 2, she admitted it would be news even to their parents. In the next episode, she finally opened up about the actual reason for taking the big step. Akanksha told the fellow contestants that she made it clear that she lacked a maternal instinct right from the beginning of her marriage. However, she was open to seeing whether her feelings would change over time, but they did not. Her estranged husband was fine with her decision to not have kids; however, his mindset has since changed. Akansha Chamola said:
“Jab hum shaadi mein thhe, mera maternal instinct kabhi nahi tha. But I was open to discovering it, and it was never shut down. But gradually I realised that I am not meant for it and he was okay with it. But I guess, in time, that shifted. Now, he wants to have kids, and I can’t give him that.”
