Now, recently, a 44-year-old hiker named Caio Rocha Aguiar Arrabal died while taking a selfie from the top of a rock in southeastern Brazil.

For the unversed, 44-year-old Caio Rocha Aguiar Arrabal was a hiker. He had been to the Pedra do Macaco trail in Maricá, located in Rio de Janeiro. The hiker climbed the exposed rock, which had dangerous terrain. Now, a video of his moments before his death went viral and netizens are in disbelief on how because of a selfie, Caio risked his life.
Caio Rocha Aguiar Arrabal, as seen in the clip, reportedly had finished taking pictures and attempted to climb down. The clip that went viral had Caio screaming, and a user wrote, “And doing what he loved is probably the way he wanted to go anyway. Who the hell is recording!? Maybe help the guy out! He risked it all for that selfie. I’m sure his family wished he didn’t climb.”
